"The City of Tampa Purchasing Department is experiencing a significant rise in the number of "Request for Proposals" (RFP's) from the Departments we serve. With limited staffing and expertise in Purchasing to address the rising number or RFP's to be conducted, Purchasing began to explore options on how to address the increasing workload in managing more RFP's but without additional resources. As a result, the City evaluated the eRFP Sysoft Software solution and made a decision to implement this product into our Purchasing operation. The eRFP solution will streamline the RFP evaluation process by allowing evaluators to evaluate RFP's via the Internet 24/7 without the need to spend countless hours in committee meetings. The system will also allow Purchasing to monitor the performance and progress of the evaluators as well as compute the ranking and scores of the RFP responses customized to meet the City's needs on a project by project basis. eRFP will save the City time and money and increase our overall effectiveness and efficiency. We are excited about fully implementing this project.".
